Darcy Claims His Prize

We received this message from Darcy, the winner of 1st prize – a Mick Fanning surfboard, in our recent raffle:

When I first found out, I couldn’t believe that I was the recipient of Mick Fanning’s surfboard, one that not only he has ridden, but signed as well. I was absolutely thrilled, and couldn’t wait to tell everyone at my school, St. Andrews Lutheran College. I entered the Great Sand Build up Sand Sculpting competition and bought a ticket in the raffle never in a million years thought that I would win. I still can’t believe I’m the recipient of Mick Fanning’s surfboard, and would like to give my thanks to the Surfrider Foundation, Base Surfboards and of course Mick, for such an amazing prize.
