Our Green Day Out
Green Day Out (World Environment Day) put on by GECKO and numerous volunteers was again an enormous success. Surfrider GCT would like to thank GECKO for including us in their celebration of all things GREEN.
Our crew had a wonderful time meeting many like minded people while collecting email addresses to build our data base.
At one point early in the construction stage, a big black clowd came out of the west and played havoc with those who were unprepared. Not us though thanks to Kirra Surfriders Chris Payne who had us well protected under one of their tents with sides and comfortable chairs for all. (And also the coffee and biscuits to keep our gums flapping!)
If we missed you this time around – we’ll see you next year…
